As School of Robotics programmer, I have developed a library that integrates many basic functions used to implement educational robotics applications on Arduino-based robots and in particular for the BYOR robot.
In the library there are methods for controlling actuators, sensors, playing sounds and other interesting features.
This library will be used by Fraunhofer IAIS as the basis for the code generator, that will make possible program BYOR robot using the Open Roberta Lab. The aim of Open Roberta project is to overcome technical and professional barriers for teachers and students alike. The free cloud-based platform “Open Roberta Lab” can be used at any time by any device using standard Internet browsers.
